Apple-Cranberry Cobbler

Traditional, simply and still delicious.

Filling:

  • 5 Granny Smith Apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp. butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350F. Combine all ingredients and place in 9" pie dish.

Topping:

  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • Pinch salt

Combine. Pour over filling. Bake for 1 hour. After 45 minutes check cobbler. If topping too brown tent with foil.
