We lost each other for about 40 years, but reconnected and are as good friends as ever. Simas recipe is easy to make, delicious and a perfect treat instead of Chex mix, pretzels or as a companion to a fine dinner. This recipe calls for "industrial" quantities. You can quarter it if youd like to try it first.
Mix all ingredients in a mixer fitted with a paddle. Roll into a 1/4" thick (and very long) roll. Shape into "rings" the size of your fingers. Dunk in beaten eggs and then in sesame seeds (or whichever seed combination youd like). Bake in a 350F over for 25 minutes until the "bagels" brown slightly. |
