Cauliflower With Bacon, Capers and Raisins
Ingredients
- 4 slices smokey bacon, cut into 1/4" strips
- 2 lbs. cauliflower florets
- 3/4 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
- 2 tbsp capers
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- crisp bacon in heavy 10" skillet. Add cauliflower and cook until lightly brown, 5-7 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and cook over moderately low heat, covered, stirring occasionally, until cauliflower is tender, 12-15 minutes. Add lemon juice and season to taste.
