Beef Ramen

 

Ingredients

  • 2 packets ramen
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 1/4 cup water
  • Sauce:
  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce (or hoisin)
  • 4 tsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp mirin

Instructions

  1. Mix sauce and set aside.
  2. Sauté onion in sesame oil until translucent, roughly 5 minutes. Add beef and cook until light brown and no longer pink. Add sauce and cook 2-3 minutes. Push beef mixture to the sides and put ramen in the center. Turn over after a minute. Cook one more minute and then break down the ramen and mix well with the beef mixture. Serve.
