Beef Ramen
Ingredients
- 2 packets ramen
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 1/4 cup water
- Sauce:
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce (or hoisin)
- 4 tsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
Instructions
- Mix sauce and set aside.
- Sauté onion in sesame oil until translucent, roughly 5 minutes. Add beef and cook until light brown and no longer pink. Add sauce and cook 2-3 minutes. Push beef mixture to the sides and put ramen in the center. Turn over after a minute. Cook one more minute and then break down the ramen and mix well with the beef mixture. Serve.
