Savta Yehudit's Stone Fruit Cake
Ingredients
- 7 oz sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/3 cups flour (1/3 flour, 1/3 potato flour, 1/3 cornstarch)
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 10 plums or peaches or apricots
- 1stick butter
Instructions
- Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour and baking powder slowly.
- Preheat oven to 350F. Spray a 9" round or 8" square cake pan. Pour in the batter. Cut the fruit in half and place in the batter, round-side up. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. The dough will rise around and often oven the fruit.
