Gingerbread squares
- 1 1/4 flour
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp cloves
Mix above. Add
- 1/2 cup safflower oil
- 1/2 cup mild mollases
- 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup boiling water.
Mix. 8" square pan, 30 minutes 350
