The Food Pilgrimage
About 18 months ago, my daughter Liat and I were hanging out in her room when she asked: "Hey, mom, what if we went on a trip to visit all the best restaurants we've eaten at around the world?". She said it in jest, of course, it being such an audacious thought, but I was struck by the brilliance of the idea, so, of course, I said, "Great idea; let's do it!".
After recovering from the shock and much deliberation, we concluded that we will limit our trip to fifteen restaurants plus several other important stops (such as gelati, chocolate etc.).
Below is our food pilgrimage list. We will embark on the trip June 20th, and look forward to reporting to you on our experiences through the ensuing month. In the meantime, your input to our culinary adventure is eagerly anticipated.
